Eric Ode

Eric Ode (pronounced Oh-dee) is a national award winning children's singer/songwriter, a widely published poet, and a thoroughly engaging entertainer. His upbeat, high-participation programs are bubbling over with fun, interactive music and poetry and include stories, skits, costumes, props and puppets.
A former elementary teacher of 12 years with a Masters Degree in Educational Technology, Eric has shared music and poetry performances with schools, community festivals, libraries, and churches throughout the United States and well beyond. He has been four times recognized with Parents' Choice Awards as well as two Honors Awards from National Parenting Publications (NAPPA). His original music is heard on children's radio programs across the country.
Eric is the author of Tall Tales of the Wild West (And a Few Short Ones), a collection of silly cowboy poems published by Meadowbrook Press. His poems have been featured in over a dozen anthologies including If Kids Ruled the School, Rolling in the Aisles, Oh My Darling, Porcupine, and Dinner with Dracula, as well as other books and magazines.
