Barbara Klaskin Silberg

Barbara Klaskin Silberg is the founder and director of the West Los Angeles Children's Choir. She was a traveling music teacher in Los Angeles for more than 16 years and is currently the music teacher at UCLA's Neuropsychiatric Hospital, where she works with pediatric and adolescent inpatients. Mrs. Silberg has written music for three CDs, It's Holiday Time!, Celebrating Children, and Rocking the Night Away, and has recorded music for the Baby Genius label. She is proud to have two of her songs, Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor and I Have a Dream/This Is Our Moment on the National Institute of Health's Patriotic Website, and is very happy when she and her co-writer husband Bob travel around the country to hear their songs performed.
