Dave Farver (aka Mr. Saxophone) has worked hard to produce a children's songs that entertain the parents as much as the kids. Recordings that you aren't tempted to throw out the window after a couple plays. Cool grooves and clever lyrics instead of silly-willy insults to one's intelligence, that's the idea.

"So many children's records talk down to kids, and it's not necessary. Kids understand a lot more than we think. No reason to drive parents insane with vapid drivel either! I made a record I would want to listen to with my kids. They are songs about my childhood memories, all the things I loved doing when I was a kid." Dave explains. "I picture families listening to it in the mini-van!"

Songs on his newest CD "Songs from the Treehouse" feature a wide variety of styles, hilarious parodies (Welcome to the Jungle Gym, The Fizz is Gone), some classic remakes (Daydream, I Can Help), and eight eclectic originals. You can Go, Go, Go racing with your friends, dance with your Great Big Grandma, or just hang around the house in your Sockfeet! Ranging from blues, swing and country to rock and roll, and even a little beat poetry, most of the tunes have a rootsy feel, reminiscent of School House Rock .
